Description
O Vos Omnes is a partial Prolation Canon. The 2nd choir all sing the same line, but at 6 different speeds. The bass, which starts, is 8 times slower than the soprano. All voices end at the same spot. The first choir sings free material.
The Prophet Jeremias, as Israel was being led into the Babylonian Captivity sat weeping and said:
O all you who pass along this way,
Behold and see if there is any sorry like unto my sorrow.
